School started on Monday, and when i say school, i mean lectures and tutorials, not some dead boring orientation.

Temasek's a hot place, and i mean the-sun-is-in-your-face kind of hot. Stepping out of the lecture hall could actually make me perspire.

Time passes really quickly in school, two hours of lectures would just fly by in an instant.

Pretty fun people in my class, although there are a few "weird" ones.

Oh and i'm going to join waterpolo as my CCA, *SURPRISE!*

So that's about it for now, poly life kinda rocks(:

This holiday has been productive to say the least.

I have started work at Starbucks which has been really fun!

So i guess this holiday has been more productive than last year's end-of-year holidays.

I ate a shit load of food today.

I met Ryan and Gerald at Plaza Singapura and then we I went on an eating spree.

First i had Takopachi balls - Ham & cheese which were really good although the ones at Taka are better.

Next on the menu was the crispy chicken which as usual were ~~fattening~~ Delicious.

Then I continued stuffing myself with the sour cream and onion pretzel from Auntie Anne's.

I heard so much about this legendary food stuff that i had to try it, the unhealthily delicious fried mars bars=) Heavenly.

We then proceeded to Cathay to watch Gameplan, which i must say, The Rock would be better off acting than wrestling. He is such a entertaining actor! During the movie, once again my stomach was not spared as i gobbled down a jumbo hotdog combo.

Then we went to play pool, which was something i haven't done in a VERY VERY LONG time. It was pretty fun, but no food involved=)

And that's not all! We went to the nearby Rochor Tau Huay and ate each a bowl of tau huay and some you tiaos and ham chim pang.

Today was fun.

The hectic part of the O levels are over. Now all i'm left with is Physics, Social Studies and Literature.

Chemistry was, for a lack of a better word, WEIRD. Not difficult, but weird. The paper consisted of alot of explanatory questions instead of equations etc. But overall, it was a relatively easy paper.

History was the bomb. Weeks before the history exam, i was fervently reading up on my Germany and 'Fall of Communism' topics as i thought that these topics would almost certainly come out for the structured essay section. But on the day of the exam, i decided that i would just read on Japan for fun, who knows, it might just come out, AND IT DID. I went home extremely happy that day.

English wasn't hard nor was it easy. The composition and letter-writing were pretty simple, but the comprehension was was not that easy, neither was it hard. I really hope to get an A1 though.

Maths was such a relief-at least it was after it was over. Paper one was very tricky, which scared me a little, BUT PAPER 2 WAS A BLAST! It was actually easier! Not to mention that i managed to finish the paper! But the grading curve for maths is usually very steep, which means it would take 85 or above to get an A1, so i'm more than happy to settle for a B3.

So that's about it for my exams at the moment, now i have to really piah for my Social studies which i have yet to touch.

The O level exams have been good to me so far, and I really hope it stays that way=)

This is my O level exam timetable! I'm really nervous about my O's, 5 years of secondary school and it all boils down to this 'moment of truth'. Looking back, i had never really studied or taken any of my exams seriously till this year. Even for the N levels, i started to piah only just three weeks before the exams began.

I thought that this year would not be much different from last year. I kept thinking to myself, how much harder can O levels be? I was shit wrong. For my Mid years, i got 44pts for my L1R5. I didn't score as well for my prelims either, achieving only 36pts for my L1R5 and 28pts for my L1R4.

Now, i just hope to get a decent 10pts for my L1R4, which would be able to let me get into my desired course in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I would really appreciate prayers at this juncture, and i really pray for God to give me wisdom and the discipline to study hard, with the knowledge that i can truly enjoy my upcoming holidays, but only if i work hard now.

Sevilla midfielder Antonio Puerta, passed away on the 28th of August, just three days after he collapsed during a football match between Sevilla and Getafe.

The player was due to become a father for the first time in around a month and a half.

'The death was caused by postanoxic encephalopathy and a multiple failure of his organs caused by the prolonged cardiac arrest that provoked his admission to hospital,' the hospital said in a statement.

Antonio Puerta was only 22 years old when he passed away, a tragedy indeed.

The scientists monitored the brain activity of 12 men as they listened to male and female voices.

FMC Combined Church Camp 2007

Church camp was refreshing!

The theme talks were pretty good, inspiring; really made me think about our youths as one body and how we aren't breaking out of comfort zones.

Got to know some new people like Jarod(i'm not sure if i'm spelling it correctly), Jamie and Hon Yi. I also got closer to people i already knew before the camp, wonderful people like Seth, Gloree, Teo Hui, Huili and even an older 'youth' like Aunty Mui eng=)

The programme was kinda relaxed, not much activities apart from the theme talks which was really good! I also really enjoyed spending the free time with Lucy's cousins, Gary and Sean. Dinner that day was delectable! The butter-smeared prawns were amazing! While the Malaysian version of Hokkien mee was also in the same league, absolutely scrumptious=)

On the last night i decided to invite EVERY youth from both intermediate and YF to have some youth 'bonding' in my room, although not all the youths turned up but i think it was pretty fun albeit the boring beginning of the 'meeting' as we played some pretty pointless games.

The most interesting part of the camp was being the emcee for the camp's talent night=)
Planning for it was easy, but executing our plan wasn't. Before talent night started, the nerves got to me. I was feeling kinda nervous, but i'm glad we managed to pull it off=)

My Friends and I went to pay OCH a visit today. We thought it would be quite interesting to embark on a 'Ghost Hunting' trip. We reached OCH at 630pm as planned and left the place approximately at 9pm. Here are some of the pictures we took:

I had a talk with Nigel on new year's day,and he reminded me that Whenever i feel alone rmb that the Lord is always there.
We know the Lord is always there but sometimes we need to be reminded it times of distress.

I'll be taking my O's this year and i'm super scared that i might not be able to cope with my life in every aspect.

I had dinner with Lucy, James, Ectomahawk, Ryan, Paul and Belly. After dinner we went to Starbucks to chill. While we were on the topic of how to confess to someone you 'like' her, somehow, we started using phrases like: i observe you, i am in observing with you etc.

We were using the word 'observe' to replace the words 'love' and 'like'...

Lucy and i went to eat at Genki Sushi,which was not bad,but i somehow felt it was quite expensive.
After gorging on Unagi and Sashimi,it suddenly struck me how the plates and prices were sorted out by COLOUR.

Today i went to the nearby barber to cut my hair,to make it short again.
Halfway through the haircut, i opened my eyes to see how my hair looked;I looked like Chun Li, you know,the street fighter.

Anyway...After that i went to buy two games,but only one of the games is worth my mentioning,which is ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN.Quite fun lah but very challenging lah...

I ate my lunch pretty late and i ate my dinner pretty early.

I've been eating alot of unhealthy stuff lately but i'm sure it will change i hope.

I'm patiently waiting for James yong to come back from Aussie land in 5 days time,5!!!

It's been pretty long since i saw him.And now that it's the holidays i guess it's going to be fun.I'm in a dilemma as to whether i should go for SU youth camp...Should i or should i not? Firstly,alot of friends ain't going which is a key factor as i don't know many people there.~~secondly~~Lastly, i just have this feeling of uneasiness,you can call it a hunch, that it ain't going to be fun or interesting.

A part of me wants to go so as to not disappoint friends who ARE going,also in a desperate attempt in stabilising my relationship with God as my holiday agenda has not been based on that which by right it should,if i can actually put it that way....

My sister has once again persuaded my auntie to buy her another Crumpler bag which cost a disgusting $159.So what if mine costs $179,i only have ONE bag,she has a ~~whole~~ half a wardrobe of them.She claims that it is for christmas,you know as a gift.But i can safely put a bet on the fact that she will definitely pretend she never made that claim and once again go with the same auntie on another shopping spree in the name of christmas.We'll see

I am,on the other hand waiting for my results as usual as i just cannot wait on owning my very first laptop,IF i get the grades needed to persuade my parents.

I just finished jogging at around 1045pm.Kinda late,but better late than never i guess.
I've skipped lunch for the last two weeks and eating only dinner as i wake up pretty late.
I need to maintain my weight maybe even lose some but oh well...

As i've been stuck at home for most of my days,i spent alot of time looking through the world wide web for answers to alot of my questions.Weird questions really,questions like what happens if you lack sufficient sleep etc.

My day unfolded in bits and pieces in the most amazing way.

The first major thing of today was YM which was pretty boring man.

That aside,i had lunch at yoshinoya with ethel,kim,eliza and cheryl,and as usual i ate the most i guess. But i haven't had lunch with them in a pretty long time.

After lunch,my day officially started as i spent the rest of my time with the 18 year olds.It was quite an exciting period as we(some of us) messed around with the extremely interesting stuff we found at spotlight.After that we played some daytona at the arcade where i lost pretty badly when trying my hand at the advanced course.

After which many of us parted ways.I went home.

The older i grow the lamer i get.Oh man!

Anyway catching the chelsea vs man utd match now...CHELSEA! CHELSEA! CHELSEA!

I just finished watching 'A Beautiful Mind' on channel 5.
Pretty good show.The wife's loyalty to russell crowe's character is very commendable and something to look out for in YOUR future wife =)

NOW,i'm watching ghost hunters on star world.Stupid show thrilling but ridiculous.
They claim that during the time of filming and recording for playback purposes that they did not hear any voices or any possible form of interaction but.....only when they are watching the replays they hear unexplained voices.
Stupid right? i mean maybe at the time of recording they were too engrossed in looking around for 'ghosts',that they were unknowingly unconcsious of their surroundings therefore, only when examining the footage were they able to hear or see something that they BELIEVE that might be something supernatural.
Another ludicrous claim is that when there is an increase in the levels of electromagnetic frequency in the room, there is a possibility that there is something paranormal going on.Balderdash! hahaha cool word right? Came from my literature book..ANYWAY ...many things can actually cause an increase in electromagnetic frequency.As long as there is a source of an electric current,an increase is possible.

So everything they claim to provide a belief that there is a supernatural force is not plausible.
